Overview

Let`s stop for a moment and go Back in Time. In this trip we will explore the unknown part of Gjirokaster, the magic of the town that every tourist skips. We start from the center of the old town the “CercizTopulli Square” and head towards The “Old Bazaar” which is not a Bazaar anymore. This is the first neighborhood outside the walls of the castle and lies along beneath the Castle walls. The characteristic cobblestone the orthodox church and some of the oldest houses are the most beautiful elements of this neighborhood. After passing the stream of Nanxa, we reach another ancient neighborhood in town called “Cfaka”. Here we will pass by some old houses which are first monument category, a rebuild mosque and then we reach the last neighborhood “Dunavat” where we will find a tekke which belongs to the Bektashi Order. It is a beautiful combination of Nature, many sheep on top of hills, and old houses before arriving in our last destination, the “Ali Pasha Bridge”. This bridge is a remaining of the aqueduct which Ali PasheTepelena build more than 200 years ago to bring water to the castle. After the history is established we start the birdwatching tour. This location is perfect for anyone who is new in birdwatching but also for ornithologists with years of experience. This location is perfect for monitoring local bird species, its home of (insert species) and also a local gem in witch we take pride, the Egyptian Vulture. A nearly extinct species that can be found flying gracefully in this location. (insert ending)
The whole trip takes approximately 3 hours and you should be prepared to walk on a not so comfortable terrain. So put on your sneakers and join us to this dual personality trip, the untold story and the modern history of this endagared species.

"Some truly fantastic articles on this web site, regards for contribution.http://www.tlovertonet.com/"
Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little something from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content on my blog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
